Escape to the Carolinas with Sara Frances Designs Carolina bird house.  This custom designed wood birdhouse is all handmade using 100% sustainable Western Red Cedar.  The house measures 18 inches tall x 6 inches in diameter.  The entry hole is sized at 1.25 inches to attract smaller songbirds such as Chickadees, Wrens and Nuthatches to name just a few.

Designed to evoke the laid-back sophistication and casual elegance of the Carolinas this house has vents in the sides to allow air circulation throughout the nesting box, drain holes in the floor to maintain a dry environment and a hinged access gate for easy annual cleanout.  The house is painted in Benjamin Moore’s white diamond and guacamole green premium exterior paint, while the roof is treated with System Three marine varnish to protect and bring out the natural luster of the cedar.
