The Santorini Birdhouse

The Santorini birdhouse is our interpretation of a small escape to the Greek island of Santorini. There you’ll find the beautiful blue domed houses perched atop rock outcroppings overlooking the stunning Aegean Sea. This house is hand-made from 100% Western Red Cedar and is painted in Benjamin Moore premium exterior paints. Measuring over 10 inches in height with a nesting box diameter of 6 inches, the Santorini has a hinged access gate for easy annual cleanout, drain holes in the floor to help maintain a dry environment inside and vents around the house to aid in the circulation of air inside the nesting box. The access hole is sized at 1.25 inches to attract the smaller songbirds such as Chickadees, Wrens, Nuthatches and Downy Woodpeckers to name a few. Birding is a relaxing and stress-relieving pursuit.
