The Lantern Bird Feeder

Our Japanese inspired Lantern Feeder is constructed entirely from 100% Western Red Cedar and measures 7.25 inches wide x 10.5 inches deep x 10.5 inches tall.  The roof is removable and is painted in Benjamín Moore’s Million Dollar Red while the entire feeder is rubbed in Odie’s Wood oil to protect and bring out the luster of the cedar.  The lantern body is 3.25 inches wide x 4 inches deep x 8 inches tall (without the roof) and holds approximately 4 cups of seed inside.  The bottom tray has a lip around it to retain the seed while the Lantern itself has openings on all four sides to allow the seed to fill the bottom tray in a manageable way.
